Project Representative

After gaining work experience in building enclosure rehabilitation, Fariha returned to school and earned a Master of Science degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the New York Institute of Technology, graduating summa cum laude, with highest honors. The recipient of multiple scholarships and academic awards, she served as a research assistant at NYIT and contributed to a design project for the 2024 Salone del Mobile in Milan, Italy. Fariha completed her Bachelor of Architecture degree in her native Bangladesh, attending the Military Institute of Science and Technology in Dhaka with a prestigious national scholarship.

Before joining Hoffmann, Fariha developed her technical and project management skills in building enclosure investigation and design, with experience in facade restoration, roof replacement, sidewalk vault and plaza restoration, waterproofing, and code compliance inspections, as well as coordination with consultants, contractors, and other project team members. A lifelong learner, she prioritizes continuing education and has completed additional coursework in her spare time on high-performance building enclosures, structural systems, and other pertinent topics. At Hoffmann, Fariha applies her education and experience to supporting project teams in the New York office as they address facade, roof, plaza, and waterproofing challenges throughout the metropolitan area.

Outside work, Fariha enjoys cooking and baking, especially experimenting with different spices. She also likes podcasts, sitcoms, and anime. She is fluent in Bengali.
