Hoffmann Architects + Engineers Promotes Chelsea Doyle to Senior Finance Coordinator

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers is pleased to announce that Chelsea Doyle has been promoted to Senior Finance Coordinator in recognition of her increased responsibilities and experience.

Chelsea Doyle joined Hoffmann Architects + Engineers’ Connecticut office as Finance Associate in 2017. After relocating to California, she returned to Hoffmann in 2020 and was one of the few staff in the office full-time throughout the pandemic. In recognition of her dependability and willingness to take on new challenges, she was offered the opportunity to assume administrative responsibilities for the New York office, in addition to her role supporting the finance team. She moved to New York in 2022, where she now handles office operations, as well as financial and accounting tasks for the entire firm.

Expanded Responsibilities

A quietly capable and diligent worker, Doyle has steadily increased her responsibilities. She is now involved with the full project life cycle, starting with taking out marketing numbers and opening new projects, as well as preparing agreements with sub-consultants. She recently assumed responsibility for monthly billing meetings with project managers, working closely with the controller and CFO. At the conclusion of each project, she is responsible for collections and project close-out documentation.

Doyle has also taken on an active role in preparing monthly financial reporting, tracking the overall financial position of the firm. When Hoffmann incorporated a new entity, Hoffmann Architects and Engineers of NY, DPC, Doyle worked to execute new agreements with clients for more than 70 active New York projects.

Credentials

Doyle earned an accounting degree from Southern Connecticut State University. She became a licensed Notary Public in the State of New York in 2024.

Additional Contributions

Beyond her financial and administrative responsibilities, Doyle took on planning, organizing, and hosting team-building events, including the New York office holiday party and the first company-wide gathering since COVID, a ping-pong tournament and cocktail luncheon at SPIN NYC Midtown. She also participated in Hoffmann community service initiatives, such as a Habitat for Humanity build day and a volunteer event for a local food bank through the United Way of Greater New Haven.

Hoffmann Architects + Engineers recognizes Chelsea Doyle for her contributions to company culture and to the day-to-day operation of the office, as well as her can-do attitude and capable management of finance and administration responsibilities. We look forward to her continued success at Hoffmann.
