Hoffmann Architects Promotes Bishop to Project Architect
January 2018 – Hoffmann Architects, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, is pleased to announce the promotion of a member of the firm’s Arlington, Virginia-based technical staff.
Daniel L. Bishop, AIA earned a promotion to Project Architect, in recognition of his advanced professional credentials and technical skill in providing investigation, design, detailing, remediation, and peer review services for building enclosure projects. In November 2011, Bishop joined Hoffmann Architects as Project Representative, and he earned a promotion to Project Coordinator in February 2014 and to Senior Project Coordinator in November 2015. A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Master of Architecture degree, Bishop studied at the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark and is a member of the Association for Preservation Technology. His recent projects include roof and facade restoration and design for Verizon, the New York City Department of Design and Construction, the Smithsonian Institution, the George Washington University, and the United States Capitol. He lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
