Hoffmann Architects Promotes Robert Fraguada to Project Coordinator
Hoffmann Architects, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in the rehabilitation of building exteriors, is pleased to announce the promotion of a member of the New York technical staff.
Robert M. Fraguada, Assoc. AIA has been promoted to Project Coordinator in recognition of his experience and contributions to the firm.
Fraguada will celebrate his fourth anniversary with Hoffmann Architects in September. He joined the firm in 2018 as Project Representative and earned a promotion in 2021 to Senior Project Representative in recognition of his valued contributions and increasing job responsibilities.
His experience includes restoration and replacement of facades, roofs, and historic windows; hardscape and plaza rehabilitation; water infiltration investigations; and New York City Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP) investigations. In his time with the firm, Fraguada has worked on more than 40 projects for corporate, educational, government, healthcare, museum, religious, and residential structures in New York and New Jersey. Some of his notable contributions include work on 16 projects for Columbia University’s medical center and main campus, including most recently a step rehabilitation at Low Library; facade repairs for Masonic Hall NYC; several high-rise building facade repairs for Solow Realty and Development Company LLC; as well as facade inspections and repairs for the American Express Building at 200 Vesey Street.
Beyond his project work, Fraguada contributes to the culture of Hoffmann Architects through his participation on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee as one of its inaugural members. His commitment to building community and fostering equity and belonging has helped Hoffmann Architects further its commitment to diversity in the profession.
Fraguada earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in New York City. He is fluent in Spanish and an accomplished soccer player. Known for his team spirit and camaraderie, he participated on the Hoffmann Architects dodgeball and volleyball teams prior to the pandemic.
