Hoffmann Architects Promotes Robert Fraguada to Senior Project Representative
Robert M. Fraguada has been promoted to Senior Project Representative in recognition of his experience, contributions, and increasing responsibilities.
Fraguada will celebrate his third anniversary with Hoffmann Architects in September. After graduating from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, he joined the firm in 2018 as a Project Representative in the New York office. Fraguada quickly learned the standards and procedures for Hoffmann Architects’ projects, both in the field and in the office. From conducting research and developing drawings to reviewing submittals and visiting construction sites, he has spent the past three years building knowledge and technical skills in preparing project deliverables. With his dependable and steadfast demeanor, he is an asset to building enclosure investigation and rehabilitation design teams.
Fraguada’s projects have afforded him experience with a variety of building types and project scopes, including Local Law 11 facade inspections, historic window replacement, water infiltration investigation, plaza rehabilitation, and roof replacement. His project list includes several buildings at Columbia University, as well as projects at The Morgan Library & Museum, Verizon, Masonic Hall NYC, and for Orda Management Corporation and Solow Realty and Development Company LLC.
Beyond his project work, Fraguada contributes to the culture of Hoffmann Architects through his participation on the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee as one of its inaugural members. His commitment to building community and fostering equity and belonging has helped Hoffmann Architects further its commitment to diversity in the profession.
Outside the office, Fraguada joined his coworkers (pre-COVID) on the Hoffmann Architects dodgeball and volleyball teams, where he brought team spirit, camaraderie, and loyalty to every game. He is also an avid photographer and shares his striking images of New York life and culture on his Instagram @robfraguada.
